This is our primary everyday go-to card! It get’s both of us into Priority Pass and Plaza Premium Lounges while we travel! It has a high annual fee however the lounge access as well as other benefits this card provides makes the annual fee worth it to us.
If the Capital One Venture X was not our primary card, this would be it! They have great transfer partners for your points as well!
We got this card to start earning IHG points as well as get status with IHG. Will try to utilize the free night award (valued at 40,000 points) on our account anniversary each year on a hotel that would cost more than $99/night. When we use our points, we try to redeem them for stays of 4 nights as the 4th night is free when using points.
We got this card to start earning Hyatt points as well as get status with Hyatt. Will try to utilize the free night award (category 1-4) on our account anniversary each year on a hotel that would cost more than $95/night.
We got this card when the Sign Up Offer was 5 free night certificates for meeting the spend requirement. Will try to utilize the free night award (up to 35,000 points) on our account anniversary each year on a hotel that would cost more than $95/night. Will also have status now with Marriott Bonvoy
We just got this card, July’24, to take advantage of the elevated welcome offer.

This was one of the first credit cards I signed up for when we started our credit card journey. We have since got the Capital One Venture X and have downgraded this card to a no annual fee product.
