We hit up Thailand just in time for the end of dry season and gave ourselves a month (29 days to be exact) to explore the country. Or so we thought. Once landed in Bangkok, we quickly realized that we are not in fact superhuman and that if we kept traveling at lighting speed (aka doing things all day every day, planning for the next day at night, and then repeating this cycle every day) we would simply not survive. Week 1 in Thailand became a rest, recovery, and planning week. Spoiler, since then we’ve never been ahead on planning ever again. Once we were re-energized, we hit the ground running once again, traveling north to Chiang Mai and Chiang Rai, and then jetting south to Khao Sok National Park. When it came time to choose which of the southern beaches we wanted to visit, we landed on Krabi, Railay, and Koh Yao Noi island. There were too many to choose from and too little time to visit more than 2-3 spots. With the research we did, it seemed like as long as weather was good, you can’t really go wrong with any. They are all stunning.
