We came to Thailand for some proper testing after both getting sick in the Philippines. Everything was last minutes, flights, hotel booked close to the hospital, etc, so we didn’t think too much about the budget at this moment. We lost 2 nights of hotels in the Philippines for leaving early, however we were luckily able to get our flight to India refunded. So, this second time in Thailand was focused on us just getting our normal diets back and getting back to 100%.
Some notes:
– The miscellaneous category was mostly our hospital bills, which came out to$725. Majority of this was from the hospital. We paid $506. We went to one of the nicest private hospitals in Bangkok called Bumrungrad. To be honest, having been sick for 2 weeks and not knowing why, it was worth every penny to get a proper test!
